The 4 Markers It Measures
The test looks for four specific signs of gut damage:
Zonulin: A protein that controls the doors of your gut lining. High levels mean the doors are stuck open.
Occludin: The physical walls that hold your gut cells together. Antibodies here mean the walls are breaking down.
LPS (Lipopolysaccharides): Toxins from gut bacteria. Finding these in your blood proves your gut is leaking.
