Throughout her career she did clinical and academic work. In her teaching role at Florida Atlantic University, Dr. Leykind has demonstrated her ability to lead and inspire others. She has served as a mentor to students, helping them navigate their academic journeys and supporting them in their career goals.
Dr. Leykind is also dedicated to medical missions. She has participated in several trips to underserved areas around the world, providing care to those who otherwise would not have access to medical treatment.

In her free time Dr. Alsu Leykind enjoys a variety of hobbies such as cooking, working out and traveling. Dr. Leykind also values physical fitness and makes time to work out regularly. She believes that exercise is essential for maintaining both physical and mental well-being.
